Native Manuka Honey is a dark, cream honey with unique anti-bacterial qualities.
Manuka Honey is pure, raw, natural honey collected from the flower of the Manuka Tree (New Zealand Tea Tree) (Leptospermum Scoparium).
Internally this all natural remedy is used for sore throats, colds and to strengthen the immune system. Manuka Honey tastes great in tea or on toast. Also a good flavour additive when cooking.
Externally this unique honey can be applied to canker sores (cold sores), fever blisters, pimples and acne. Manuka Honey is also known to naturally heal minor cuts, scratches or abrasions.
Manuka flowers have a strong aromatic fragrance and when freshly opened, are full of nectar and much sought after by the honey-bee.
