Para Koru Silver Pendant – Tahi Jewelry
A Classic Silver Pendant with a Twist
Tahi Jewelry draws on the rich tradition of Maori jewelry and tribal design that dates back centuries. This stunning silver pendant features a spiraling Koru design
The Koru is both a symbol of peace and a symbol of strength. It is one of the most important and easily recognized designs in New Zealand and around the world. Based on the unfurling fern frond or breaking wave, the Koru represents new life, new beginnings and growth. The point at the center of the Koru stands for a return to a place of origin. While the Koru is a common emblem, there are as many different Koru as there are creators. This particular Koru is called Para, meaning the King Fern. The Para is a beautiful plant with many fronds, though unfortunately it is rarer now than it once was.
Elegant and beautiful Para is a new twist on the classic silver pendant. A silver pendant is an essential accessory, so make sure you choose one which is as unique as you are.
Dimensions: The Para Pendant measures 30mm across its widest point and is 33mm high. The leather cord is 335mm long; the silver chain is 240mm long.
Please select whether you would like a leather cord or a silver chain from the drop down menu below. There is an extra charge for the silver chain, as noted below.
