Sweet Almond- Cold Pressed Carrier Oil
Sweet Almond oil protects and nourishes the skin and is great as a carrier oil for essentail oils.
Sweet almond oil is obtained from the dried kernels of the almond plant (Prunus amygdalus). It is an excellent emollient (softening and soothing to the skin). It helps the skin balance its loss and absorption of moisture, while nourishing the body with vitamins. It protects, nourishes & pampers the skin and is particularly good for dry, sensitive or irritated skin.
Sweet Almond Oil has excellent penetrating properties and is beneficial regardless of skin type or age. Applying almond oil directly into rough areas helps moisturize and soften skin, particularly hands and heels of feet. Or add just 1-3 drops of an essential oil to the sweet almond oil and use as a bath oil or as an aid to a wonderful massage.
