Le Pohutukawa est natif de Nouvelle Zélande également connu comme arbre de Noël de la Nouvelle Zélande (il a des fleurs rouges claires en décembre).Il s'épanouit dans des secteurs côtiers dans l'ensemble de l'île du nord. Ce miel est presque blanc pâle en couleurs, écrémé pour arrêter la granulation et est doux avec des traits floraux - un miel très populaire de la Nouvelle Zélande.
