Ti-Toki Liqueur

Ti-Toki Liqueur has its roots in Maori mythology as it was said the Patupaiarehe, faiy-like beings that live in the forests and mountains, drunk a beverage distilled from Ti-toki berries to warm themselves and toast friendship. The modern Ti-toki liqueur was the creation of a New Zealand winemaker in the 1970's, who was inspired by the native vegetation of New Zealand. It took three years of experimentation with titoki berries and other native ingredients such as kawakawa and manuka leaf before a worthy beverage was finally concocted. The resulting liqueur was then bottled in an ornamental tekoteko ceramic decanter and named 'Ti-toki Liqueur'. Today, Ti-toki Liqueur continues to maintain the same smooth flavours and distinctive aroma that so impressed its creator.
