Bob Steiner is an Auckland based ceramic designer specialising in local flora and fauna themed artworks. Bob’s inspiration comes from the myriad of unique and numerous species of plants and animals found in and around New Zealand. Whether from the forest, marine shoreline or inland rivers – Bob’s work always shows respect and appreciation for the natural wonders we are blessed with in Aoteroa.

This piece is a lovely interpretation of the Paua presented in six different colours. The Paua is also known as Abalone and can be found all over New Zealand.
