With Bob Steiner you would always expect quality, originality and designs which are inspired by nature, culture or an eclectic mixture of both. With a background in pottery Bob’s crative potential has pushed him to design and create works of art which can be displayed or used in the culinary arts. Many of his pieces would fit equally on a display stand as they would a gourmet dinning table.

Surrounded by nature from his base in Auckland, New Zealand – it is not surprising to see so many wildlife motifs on his work – afterall nature is never far in this country and unique plants and animals are many if you know how to find them. This particular plate is dressed with Pohutukawa flowers a local tree that is often referred to as the New Zealand Christmas tree due to it's spectacular red flowers in summer.
