The British TOG value is the international standard measurement of all blankets thermal effectiveness (how well it keeps you warm). These Thermacell blankets has been independently tested as TOG 3.7 about 40% warmer than plain weave blankets at TOG 1.7-2.6. These Thermacell Aircell Weave blankets use only long 27-32 micron, fine perendale fleece wool, grown in New Zealand. The fine strand wool fibres are loosely spun into a double knit bulky yarn and woven by a crochet machine into a blanket of rectangular woollen cells. The fabric material is brushed to give the fibres softness and mass.
