Honey Dew
Honey Dew honey is also known by the names ‘forest honey’, ‘pine honey’ and ‘fir honey’. It is produced by honey bees that collect nectar that is discarded from other insects. This is one of New Zealand’s premium export honeys and contains high levels of glucose oxidase that provides it with potent antibacterial activity. It is dark coloured with an incredible sweet taste not too dissimilar to golden syrup.
